Essenique

Creating art has always been very therapeutic for me.  It is a great way to express my emotions for it allows me an outlet that is ever-forgiving where I can release confusion, sadness and anger as well as joy and love.  While I enjoy working with many different mediums, I would say my favorite is painting.  There's just something about using my hands to create!

This is an acrylic painting inspired by the beauty of flowers and the heavens.  It's hared to see in the photo, but I created some raised, textured areas with the paint and also added some beads in the floral areas.  (detail of beading below)

These paintings are done on pressed canvas with acrylics.  I have also added beads to accent certain areas.  I like the way the beads give texture and interest.
