"Bird of Paradise"

This is the 1st  piece in a planned series of  4 called "Paradise".

Wow!  When I started this piece, I did not expect this to take so long.  Sometimes that's the way it goes though, when I come to a stand-still with a piece of art I'm doing, I just have to step away from it for a little while, but I finally feel I am done with the finishing touches.  I just need to mat  and frame it now.  I know what frame I want, but am still thinking on the color for the mat.  Will try to get it done within the next few weeks.  To anyone who might have been keeping tabs on it, really sorry for the long wait!  Thanks for looking!
